- If our mechanic reaches your location and no work is done, you must pay a visit charge of ₹199.
- This applies if you cancel or refuse the work at the location.
- This also applies if the mechanic has given you an estimate and you do not go ahead, so no work happens. The visit charge is still payable.
- It also applies if you cannot be reached, or nobody is at the location.
- If the work is completed, no separate visit charge is added.
- No visit charge if RUN2REPAIR cancels the booking, or the mechanic does not reach your location.
🔒 Bike pickup & handover: only with company approval
For customers:
- Do not hand over your bike to any mechanic, and do not allow it to be taken away for repair or service, without RUN2REPAIR's approval.
- RUN2REPAIR will send you a pickup approval email. Hand over the bike only after you receive this email.
- If a bike is handed over without the approval email, RUN2REPAIR is not responsible for it.
For mechanics:
- Never pick up or take away any bike for repair or service, to a workshop or anywhere else, without company approval.
- Pickup is allowed only after the company has sent the pickup approval email to the customer.
Full details are in sections 5, 6, 7, 11 and 12.
1 About & acceptance
RUN2REPAIR ("RUN2REPAIR", "we", "us") is a doorstep bike service platform. Customers book a service on our website, and a mechanic from our network visits the customer's location to inspect, service or repair the vehicle.
By using this website or making a booking, you ("customer", "you") confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy in section 13. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book a service.
When you tick the "I agree to the Terms & Conditions" box on the booking form and submit your booking, we record your acceptance together with the date and the version of these terms. You must be at least 18 years old to book, or the booking must be made by a parent or guardian.
2 Service area & timings
- We currently serve Patna, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga and Samastipur. Some outer areas may not be covered. Use the pincode check on the home page or contact us to confirm.
- Service slots are available between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, in one-hour slots.
- We may add or remove cities, services and time slots at any time.
3 Booking & confirmation
- A booking is a request for service. It becomes a confirmed job when a mechanic is assigned to it. You can see this on the tracking page using your Booking ID.
- You must give correct details: name, 10-digit mobile number, bike brand and model, full address and the service you need. Wrong details can delay or cancel the service.
- Please keep your Booking ID safe. Anyone who has it can view the booking status.
- If no mechanic is available for your chosen slot, we will call you to arrange another time, or cancel the booking at no charge.
- The arrival time is an estimate. Traffic, weather and earlier jobs can cause delays. We will try to keep you informed.
4 Pricing & payment
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes, if any, are included in the final amount shown to you.
- "Starts from" prices are the starting charge for that service. The final amount depends on your bike model, its condition and the work needed.
- Services without a listed price (for example General Service and Service with Engine Oil) are priced per bike. After you book, our team confirms the amount, and it is shown on your tracking page.
- If extra work or spare parts are needed, the mechanic will explain it and tell you the cost first. No extra work is done without your approval.
- Pay only after the service is completed, to the assigned mechanic or as instructed by RUN2REPAIR (cash, UPI or another mode we tell you). Please pay the amount shown on your tracking page and ask for a receipt. Do not pay any advance to anyone.
- If you are charged more than the amount shown, please contact us immediately.
- Receipt and tax. You can ask for a payment receipt from the mechanic or from us. Any tax that applies by law is part of the final amount.
- If an amount stays unpaid after the service is done, we may contact you to collect it, take lawful steps to recover it, and refuse future bookings.
5 Cancellation & rescheduling
| When you cancel | What happens |
|---|---|
| Before a mechanic is assigned | Free. No charge. |
| After a mechanic is assigned, before "On the way" | Free. No charge. |
| After the mechanic is on the way, before reaching your location | A visit charge of up to ₹199 may apply to cover the mechanic's travel. |
| After the mechanic has reached your location and the work is not done (you cancel, refuse the work, or do not accept the estimate) | A visit charge of ₹199 is payable. |
| You are not reachable, or nobody is at the location (about 15 minutes of waiting) | The booking may be closed as "Customer Not Responding". A visit charge of ₹199 is payable. |
- Visit charge: ₹199. If the mechanic reaches your location and no work is done, you must pay a visit charge of ₹199. This applies when you cancel or refuse the work at the location, when the mechanic has given you an estimate and you do not go ahead (so no work is done), or when you cannot be reached or nobody is at the location. If the work is completed, no separate visit charge is added. The visit charge is not charged if RUN2REPAIR cancels the booking or the mechanic does not reach your location.
- To cancel or reschedule, call or message us on the contact details below, at least one hour before your slot.
- We may cancel a booking if the service is not available at your location, the details are wrong or incomplete, a mechanic is unavailable, or the situation is unsafe. You will not be charged for cancellations made by us before the work starts.
- Repeated cancellations or fake bookings may lead to future bookings being refused.
6 Customer responsibilities
- Be reachable on the phone number you gave, and be present (or have someone present) at the service location.
- Provide a safe, accessible place for the work, with enough space and, where possible, good light.
- Remove personal belongings, valuables and documents from the vehicle and storage boxes. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
- Tell the mechanic about known problems, earlier repairs, accidents and anything unusual about the vehicle.
- Make sure you are the owner of the vehicle or are allowed by the owner to get it serviced.
- Treat our mechanics with respect. See section 14.
- Hand over your bike only with company approval. Do not hand over your bike to any mechanic, and do not allow it to be taken away for repair or service, without RUN2REPAIR's approval. RUN2REPAIR will send a pickup approval email to you. Hand over the bike only after you receive this email. RUN2REPAIR is not responsible for a bike handed over without the approval email.
7 Vehicle condition & records
- Before starting, the mechanic may note the condition of the vehicle (scratches, dents, existing faults, meter reading) and may take photos or short videos of the vehicle and the work. We use these only for quality checks and to settle disputes.
- Damage, wear, rust, loose or missing parts that existed before the service are not our responsibility.
- Parts supplied by the customer are fitted at the customer's risk. We do not guarantee them, and the service assurance in section 9 does not cover them. A mechanic may refuse to fit a part that looks unsafe.
- Getting your vehicle serviced outside the brand's authorised service centre may affect some manufacturer warranties. Please check your warranty terms before booking.
- We do our work to a reasonable standard, but we do not certify that a vehicle is roadworthy. If the mechanic tells you something is unsafe, please follow the advice and do not ride until it is fixed.
- Your vehicle is taken to a workshop only with RUN2REPAIR's approval (see sections 6 and 11) and your clear agreement. The mechanic will tell you where it is going and when it will be returned.
8 Spare parts & materials
- Spare parts, oil and consumables are charged separately unless the service description says they are included.
- The mechanic will tell you the part name, brand and price before fitting it. Parts are fitted only after you agree.
- Ask for the replaced old parts if you want to see or keep them. Please ask before the work starts.
- Any warranty on a spare part comes from its maker or seller, according to their terms. We will help you contact them where possible.
9 Service assurance
- If the same problem we worked on comes back within 7 days of the service, under normal use, tell us. We will send a mechanic to re-check it with no extra labour charge.
- This does not cover: spare parts (see section 8), damage from accidents, misuse, water, or modification, normal wear and tear, or new problems unrelated to the earlier work.
- Please report the issue to us before getting the vehicle repaired elsewhere. Otherwise we cannot check the earlier work.
- Some faults can only be found after opening or testing the vehicle. The mechanic will tell you what they find and what it will cost to fix.
10 Roadside assistance & jump start
- Roadside help includes on-the-spot fixes like jump start and minor repairs. Arrival time depends on distance and traffic, and we cannot guarantee an exact time.
- If the problem cannot be fixed at the roadside, we will tell you. Towing or workshop transport is not included unless we agree to it in writing or by message.
- Jump start does not fix a faulty battery or charging system. If the battery or another part has failed, a repair or replacement is a separate charge.
11 Mechanic responsibilities
Mechanics in our network are independent professionals who apply to join RUN2REPAIR. Our team checks them and gives each an R2R ID before they are activated.
Every mechanic must:
- Reach the location in the booked slot, or tell the customer if they will be late.
- Show their name and R2R ID if the customer asks, and behave politely and honestly.
- Inspect the vehicle, explain the problem and the cost, and start extra work or fit parts only after the customer agrees.
- Charge only the amount confirmed by RUN2REPAIR, and give a receipt if the customer asks.
- Do the work with care and use the right tools and parts, as quoted.
- Never pick up or take away any vehicle for repair or service, to a workshop or anywhere else, without RUN2REPAIR's approval. Pickup is allowed only after the company has sent the pickup approval email to the customer. Never ask for advance payment, tips or a personal payment account.
- Respect the customer's privacy and property, and not use the customer's phone number or address for anything outside the booking.
- Follow the partner terms agreed with RUN2REPAIR, including settling any amount due to RUN2REPAIR. This is between the mechanic and RUN2REPAIR and does not change what the customer pays.
For the customer. Your tracking page shows the name and phone number of the assigned mechanic. If someone else arrives, please call us before handing over the vehicle. If a mechanic behaves badly, report it to us immediately. We take such reports seriously and may remove the mechanic from our network.
12 Liability
- We and our mechanics take reasonable care while working on your vehicle. We are responsible for damage that is caused by our mechanic's negligence during the service, up to the amount you paid for that service.
- We are not responsible for: faults that already existed or were not told to us, failures of old or worn parts, loss of items left in the vehicle, indirect losses such as loss of income or missed appointments, or delays caused by events in section 15.
- If a bike is handed over or picked up without the RUN2REPAIR approval email, RUN2REPAIR is not responsible for it.
- A test ride up to a short distance may be needed to check the work. By booking, you allow this.
- Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under Indian consumer law.
13 Privacy policy

14 Conduct & refusal of service
- We may refuse or stop a service if the customer or the place is unsafe, if anyone abuses or threatens our mechanic, or if the vehicle is stolen, illegal, or not safe to work on.
- Fake bookings, false information and misuse of the website or the tracking tool are not allowed and may lead to blocking and, where needed, legal action.
- The website content, name, logo and design belong to RUN2REPAIR. Please do not copy or reuse them without permission.
15 Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as heavy rain or flood, strikes, road closures, curfew, power or network failure, government orders or natural disasters. In such cases we will try to reschedule, and you can cancel the booking without any charge.
16 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the last update. A booking is covered by the terms that were on this page when the booking was made. Continuing to use the website after an update means you accept the updated terms.
